Meet on Time!

Meet on Time! was the first iPhone / iPad app I released. It is a meeting timekeeper assistant, and can be used for publishing a meeting agenda, keeping items on track during the meeting, and then comparing actual times with the plan. It was last updated for iOS 7. It continues to work and there is a small community who use it.

There is an earlier version called Meet on Time Lite! that works for iOS 6. Initially Meet on Time! was a paid app and the Lite version was advertising-supported. Meet on Time! is now free.

Ever been in a meeting that ran over time?  Where the agenda was unclear, or some participants overran their items, so critical items were not discussed?

If you're responsible for running a meeting, you need Meet on Time!  More than a timekeeper, Meet on Time! helps you to improve the way you run meetings.  Here are some features (see the tutorials for details):

Meet on Time 2.2 requires IOS 6, and runs on both the iPad and the iPhone.

Meet on Time 3.0 requires iOS 7 for both the iPhone and iPad.

As app developers, feedback is important.  If we know how the app is being used, it can help drive future development, and make sure the effort we put into developing the product is not wasted.  Meet on Time includes a feedback button that allows you to send email.  We read and respond to every message.

Experience has shown that very few people give feedback via email (and this is true for all apps).

The 3.0 release of Meet on Time, is integrated with Google Analytics.  Google Analytics lets me unobtrusively gather anonymous feedback so I can better understand how Meet on Time is used in practice.

I use Google Analytics to track the following:

  1. Device type (iPhone or iPad).  Each has a slightly different user interface.  Understanding which versions are in use helps us to decide where to focus development efforts.
  2. Meeting creation (directly, from templates, by cloning an existing meeting, or by cloning a meeting using actual times); editing a meeting,
  3. Template use: templates created (directly, from meetings, or by cloning a template); editing templates, using a template to create a meeting, deleting templates.
  4. Meetings run to completion.

No identifiable information is tracked. No meeting details are ever tracked.  I hope you will leave tracking turned on, but I understand if you decide not to be tracked.  You can opt out of tracking at any time by turning it off on the Information tab (tap the “I” button on the first screen).   As before, you can email feedback about this and any features using the feedback button in the app, or through the "contact us" link on this web page.

Privacy is important.   Meet on Time has always stored meetings and templates locally on your iPhone or iPad.  We never send meeting details to our servers or any other servers (including iCloud).

When you email a meeting, we cannot guarantee that it is not read by third parties, since meeting attachments are not encrypted.
